{"id":1522,"date":"2020-08-27T13:32:21","date_gmt":"2020-08-27T05:32:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/project-pwma-uat.ltworkshop.com\/?post_type=ecf_faqs&#038;p=1522"},"modified":"2024-02-07T17:03:43","modified_gmt":"2024-02-07T09:03:43","slug":"what-are-the-types-of-activities-that-will-qualify-for-opt","status":"publish","type":"ecf_faqs","link":"https:\/\/www.pwma.org.hk\/en\/ecf_faqs\/what-are-the-types-of-activities-that-will-qualify-for-opt\/","title":{"rendered":"What are the types of activities that will qualify for OPT?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>OPT courses need not be accredited and may be organized by relevant professional bodies, training institutes or PWM institutions located in Hong Kong.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The means of attaining OPT shall follow the approach allowed for the continuous professional training recognized by the SFC, such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Attending classroom training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attending seminars (for attending luncheon talks which normally last for 1 to 2 hours in total, 0.5 hours will be counted)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting industry research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Giving lectures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sufficient records on the training and the OPT activities undertaken should be kept by the individuals for a minimum of 3 years and be made available upon request by PWMA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":91,"template":"","categories":[36],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pwma.org.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ecf_faqs\/1522"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pwma.org.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ecf_faqs"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pwma.org.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ecf_faqs"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pwma.org.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1522"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pwma.org.hk\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1522"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
