Apprenticeship Programme Graduation Ceremony

We are proud to celebrate the graduates of the 2026 Private Wealth Management Apprenticeship Programme, jointly organised by Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).

Now in its 10th intake, the Programme provides Hong Kong university students with meaningful exposure to the private wealth management industry through hands-on work experience, professional development opportunities, and direct engagement with industry leaders. Throughout the summer, apprentices participated in training seminars, company visits, networking events, community service initiatives, and other enriching activities designed to provide a holistic understanding of the industry.

On 10 August, apprentices, alumni, firm representatives, and industry leaders gathered celebrate the achievements of this year’s cohort. We were delighted to welcome PWMA Executive Committee Chairman Amy Lo and PWMA CEO and Managing Director Vivien Khoo, who shared inspiring remarks and presented graduation certificates to mark this important milestone 🎉

💡 A recurring theme from the graduates’ reflections was the value of gaining exposure to the many facets of private wealth management, building meaningful industry connections, and developing a deeper appreciation of Hong Kong’s position as a leading international wealth management hub. Many also reflected on how the Programme helped bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry experience.

A special thank you to Lok Yiu Chong, Cheng-Ying Chiang, Jacky Law, and Hayden Yu for sharing their apprenticeship journeys, and to all participating firms, mentors, alumni, speakers, and partners who contributed to another successful year.

Congratulations once again to the incredible Class of 2026! We look forward to following your future successes and staying connected as you continue your professional journeys as valued members of our growing PWMA NextGen community and Apprentice Alumni.
