Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) was delighted to co-host an exclusive afternoon fireside chat in collaboration with our member KKR, bringing together two senior leaders from the private equity and private banking worlds for a thoughtful exchange on leadership across cycles of growth, change and continuity.

We were honoured to welcome Ann-Mirjam Levy, PWMA Executive Committee Member and North Asia Head and CEO for Hong Kong at Pictet Wealth Management, in conversation with Alisa Wood, Partner at KKR, visiting Hong Kong from New York. The discussion was moderated by Cilla Luke, Executive Director at PWMA.

Drawing on their respective career journeys, Ann-Mirjam and Alisa reflected on the early skills, instincts and perspectives that compound over time, and how their thinking has evolved as responsibilities widened from technical excellence to judgment, trust and long‑term stewardship. They shared candid insights on decision‑making under uncertainty, distinguishing good decisions from good outcomes, and maintaining conviction when markets or stakeholders disagree.

The dialogue also touched on legacy and succession, ownership and leadership transition, developing great talent over time, and the role of philanthropy in articulating purpose and values across generations.
