PWMA Community Service Activities

To engage the younger generation in community services, PWMA for the fifth year running invited apprentices and apprentice alumni in the Pilot Apprenticeship Programme for Private Wealth Management to come up with ideas for community service projects. This exercise successfully brought apprentices and apprentice alumni together from different firms and universities to collaborate for the common good.

This year, PWMA Community Service Committee partnered with The Hub Hong Kong again with an aim of empowering primary school students in Sham Shui Po with higher English proficiency and face-to-face learning opportunities. On 6 Aug, 13 Aug and 20 Aug, around 20 apprentices, apprentice alumni and PWMA representatives participated in the “English Summer Camp” with around 30 upper primary school students at the Hub Children and Youth Centre. Designed by the organizing committee, the students practised conversational English by watching movies, playing games, and singing songs.  It was a fun and rewarding experience for both the apprentices and service recipients. Our thanks to all the participants and organizing committee for their commitment and heart-felt efforts on behalf of the community.  Special thanks also to everyone at The Hub for the wonderful collaboration!
