PWMA congratulates the university students who this summer successfully completed the two-year Pilot Apprenticeship Programme for Private Wealth Management! Jointly organized by the PWMA and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Programme provides training and hands-on experience at a participating PWMA member firm to undergraduate university students in Hong Kong interested in a potential career in private wealth management. On 9 August 2019, a ceremony for the graduating Apprentices took place at the HKMA’s headquarters. We were honoured to have Mr. Arthur Yuen, Deputy Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Ms. Monique Chan, Chairman of the Apprentice Committee, deliver the remarks and present certificates to the 17 students who completed the programme. Around 70 apprentices, including graduates, new joiners and alumni attended the ceremony, along with over 30 guests from HKMA, PWMA, participating firms and universities.
