On 22 March 2019, the PWMA and FinTech Association of Hong Kong (FTAHK) hosted a fruitful session on “Private Banking in a digital world” and attracted over 100 industry members of the PWMA and FTAHK attended the event.
We’d like to thank Christina Choi from the SFC for being our keynote speaker and providing an informative and enlightening take on the emergence of new technologies from the regulatory perspective. There were presentations by wealth-tech companies on latest updates regarding robo-advisory developments and followed by a panel discussion on “The future value proposition of private banks in a digital world.” Featuring speakers from the world of private wealth management as well as fintech, the panel discussion offered a meaningful exchange on the current and future role of client advisors in the new smart-banking environment.
