Our 2026 Apprentice cohort, together with several apprentice alumni, recently visited Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) for an insightful sharing session with members of the HKEX team.

The visit provided a behind-the-scenes look at HKEX’s role and core functions, including how the exchange operates and its market activity. The team also shared key developments such as the introduction and evolution of indices, as well as HKEX’s strategic priorities and how these initiatives support Hong Kong’s position as a leading global financial centre.

The day concluded with a guided tour of the Museum of Finance, bringing to life Hong Kong’s financial market history and journey of innovation.
