On 27 November 2019, PWMA hosted a forum on new licensing regime for insurance intermediaries, serving the purpose of sharing experiences of implementing the new requirements and to gather feedback and comments from members.
We invited Mark Shipman, Partner, Clifford Chance; Steve Kean, Head of Life Referral Business APAC, Credit Suisse; Carol Li, Regional Head of Regulatory Compliance, HSBC Private Banking; Sumit Indwar, Partner, Linklaters; and the panel discussion was moderated by Lawrence Cheung, Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Private Banking North Asia and Hong Kong Location, Credit Suisse, Chairman of PWMA Regulatory Committee. The panel shared their insights and engaged in a fruitful and interactive Q&A session with around 70 representatives from our member firms.
